This was a simple homage to the characters I main in fighting games I play in pixel art form - Giovanna from Guilty Gear Strive, Laura from Street Fighter V, Kimberly and Manon from Street Fighter 3, Zeku also from SFV and Potemkin, also from GGST.
This time I chose to depict them with normals (although Manon's is a Drive Impact technically) just because I think special moves are always portrayed, and I think these were pretty fun.
Most of them are 64x64 pixels - Giovanna got a little extra room to account for the wolf, Rei, and Potemkin just needs to be bigger than average to feel right.
